Our Mission

Komel needed an internal tool to simplify scheduling, managing, and tracking service orders across their busy automotive workshop.

 

The goal was to eliminate manual coordination, minimize miscommunication, and centralize all service-related operations.
Our mission was to design and develop a custom internal web application that allows administrators and technicians to:

  • Create and manage service orders
  • View daily/weekly calendars of jobs
  • Assign technicians
  • Track client contact information
  • Export work orders as PDF

The challenge

Before this solution, Komel relied on disjointed tools and manual inputs to schedule services, causing inefficiencies, overlaps, and missed opportunities. Their expanding business demanded a more professional system to coordinate a growing volume of service appointments and personnel.

  • Manual Scheduling Overload: Without centralized scheduling, managing appointments and technicians became chaotic.
  • Limited Visibility: Admins and staff couldn’t easily track which vehicles were scheduled, when, and by whom.
  • No Formal Service Documentation: Work orders were not standardized, making it difficult to archive or share with clients.
  • User Role Control: Needed permission-based access so repairmen could only view their assigned jobs, while admins had full control.
  • Scalability & Maintainability: The system needed to be simple to use but flexible enough to grow with the company.

The Solution

To meet Komel’s operational needs, we developed a sleek, role-based service management platform built on top of WordPress with custom integrations and components.

  • Admins can quickly create structured service orders by entering vehicle details, customer info, service type, duration, and cost—with options to publish or export as PDF.
  • A color-coded calendar (Day, Week, Month view) visually displays scheduled services, helping staff avoid overlaps and manage time efficiently.
  • Different user roles (Admin, Service Administrator, Repairman) ensure secure access and clear responsibilities across the team.
  • The left-side dashboard offers instant access to service orders, calendar settings, media uploads, and more—streamlining daily operations.
